Curious about all the changes

We have been so busy preparing for the arrival of our baby boy who is due in about 2 weeks. I of course have been procrastinating a bit, but now we are on a roll. The room is almost ready and we have started assembling the necessities. We had put together the stroller, then placed in the corner out of the way. I guess it wasn't out of the way enough, Candy immediately had to inspect it!!

Father's Day card with CPS Sketch #168

I have been super busy these past two weeks, it was nice to have a little time to sit down and be creative. This is a quick Father's day card for my father-in-law using Sketch #168. I found this camping paper for a steal at Michaels, I think the colors work well for a masculine project. I am on vacation the next week for my B-day. I am so excited!!!

Cricut Expressions Giveaway @

I thought I would give this challenge a whirl. Can't win if you don't try right? I made this set of items for a gift for my sis. I altered a plain gift bag with the Forever Young and Alphalicious cartridge. I then made an coordinating card. I used the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder also. I think it came out pretty cute. I know she's gonna love it. Let me know what you think.

Change in my Life- Scrapping the Music

Wow, I came across this great challenge blog for scrapbook layouts, They choose songs as inspiration. This challenge totally touched my heart. I listened to the song then read the lyrics, it certainly spoke to me. I used the lyrics of the song as journaling and highlighted special verses that were important to me. Over the past year, my hubby and I have had many struggles. It seems as though things are looking up for us as we are waiting for our future adopted child to be born (that is why there aren't pictures in the layout yet). I have struggled with preparing for his birth/arrival for fear of disappointment. This is the first step I am taking to start opening my heart once again. There is going to be a change in my life really soon and I can't wait. Thanks for stopping by.
